The story of Shoes à la Crème
For as long as I can remember, I have always had and loved offbeat, original and extraordinary shoes.
My best friend gave me a pair of amazing shoes for my birthday a few years ago.. but they were super uncomfortable. Being an artist by trade and very manual, I challenged myself to decorate my own shoes! Challenge met with flying colors since a few years later Shoes à la crème was born 🥰
But can it be eaten?
No ! They are accessories to wear and you have to take care of them.
My creations are durable... as long as you take care of them! Remember that everything is done by hand, so the strength is not comparable to something manufactured in a factory. It is therefore necessary to take care of it:
- Do not expose them to extreme temperatures
- Do not wear them in the rain
- Be careful of children and animals
- Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth
It's too expensive !
Making a pair of shoes takes around 40 hours. Which is equivalent to one week of full-time work.
These are wearable, handmade works of art, completely tailor-made for you.
